In 2021, she moved from California to Texas.Brooke has become active in the entertainment world again doing things like interviews with Famous Birthdays, attending premieres & events, and posting on her YouTube Channel again.After traveling around Europe in the summer of 2020, Brooke moved to LA and has reconnected with all of the original Dance Moms team including Kendall.Upon graduating from college, in the summer of 2020, Brooke traveled around Europe with some of her fellow college friends.Brooke graduated from Ohio University in 2019 with degrees in Marketing and Management Information Systems.Twenty-five were injured, with no fatalities. In April 2014, a mass stabbing incident, covered in the national and international news, occurred at her high school.However, she forgot part of the "Rosa Parks" group dance. During her time on the show, Brooke did not forget any of her solos onstage.Abby appears to refer to the incident during a fight with Kelly at the end of Night of the Living Dancers, saying she was the first one in the hospital when Kelly's husband drove over her kid's foot and was in the room hugging her. She stated that this was her proudest moment. After she got surgery, she couldn't leave her house but the first day she could ended up being on the same day as a dance competition. When Brooke was younger, a golf cart ran over her foot and the doctors said she may not dance again.Brooke had her first kiss when she was in 7th grade.Like Paige's, they were removed by early May 2014. She got braces at some point during the third season of the show.During the third season, Abby stated that Brooke and Paige were not part of her studio and only showed up to shoot the show.When Brooke was younger, she broke her growth plate.Her favorite thing about dance was getting to spend time with her friends and beautiful costumes.She is a fan of the NHL's Pittsburgh Penguins.Before leaving the show, Brooke said that she was closest to Maddie out of all the girls on the team.Brooke stated on multiple occasions that the show did not show her real personality and instead portrayed her as never laughing or smiling, as she was supposed to play a "grumpy teenager".Her solos were often not shown on Dance Moms, as she competed in an older age category from the rest of the dancers on the team.Brooke is the oldest girl to ever permanently feature on the elite team in Season 1.She has been dancing since the age of 2.
She later went on to attend Ohio University as a business major and graduated in 2019 with degrees in Marketing and Management Information Systems. In 2016, Brooke graduated from Franklin Regional High School. During the pyramid in the following episode, Abby revealed that the Hyland sisters had been dismissed from the team. However as she got older, she started to lose interest in dance and Abby started to grow cold towards her.īrooke and her family finally departed from the show after a physical altercation between Kelly and Abby in Big Trouble in the Big Apple. It was stated that, before the show, she was one of Abby's favorites.
